Panwali Kantha Trek

Panwali Kantha is a sweeping high meadow ridge in Uttarkashi district, offering an open camp at 3,505m with panoramic views of the Gangotri group including Kedarnath Dome, Thalaysagar, and Jogin peaks. Less visited than most Uttarakhand destinations, its wide-open terrain and wildflower carpets make it a meadow trekker's dream.

The wide Panwali Kantha ridge — a rolling carpet of wildflowers in spring, golden grass in autumn — framed by the dramatic Gangotri peaks is the kind of view that makes you want to camp for a week. Very few other trekkers.
