About This Adventure
Kedarkantha is India's most popular winter summit trek — and for good reason. Starting from the village of Sankri in the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary, the trail climbs through dense pine and oak forests dusted in snow before breaking into open meadows leading to the summit cone. The 360° panorama from 3,810m includes peaks from Swargarohini and Bandarpunch to Gangotri and Kedarnath.
