The Kashmir Great Lakes trek circuits seven stunning alpine lakes — Vishansar, Krishansar, Gangabal, Nundkol, and more — through remote valleys, high passes, and wildflower meadows accessible for only 6–8 weeks a year. One of India's most spectacular short-season treks.
The lakes themselves: each one a different shade of turquoise, emerald, and cobalt, surrounded by glacier-polished peaks. The short season (July–August only) keeps crowds manageable and snow on the passes dramatic.
