Mera Peak at 6,476m is the highest permitted trekking peak in Nepal. Though technically non-technical (mainly a glacier walk with crampon and ice axe), its altitude demands exceptional acclimatization and fitness. The summit panorama — Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kangchenjunga all visible — is unrivalled in the Himalaya.

From Mera's summit you can see five of the world's six highest mountains simultaneously. It is the highest point accessible to non-technical climbers and delivers a genuinely life-changing Himalayan summit experience.

This is for you if…

  • Very fit trekkers comfortable above 5,500m with prior acclimatization experience
  • Basic crampon and ice axe skills (training included)
  • Goal-oriented climbers targeting Nepal's highest trekking peak

Skip this if…

  • No prior high-altitude experience
  • History of altitude sickness above 4,500m
  • Not comfortable on glacier terrain

NMA permit required. Must be accompanied by certified mountain guide at all times above base camp. Summit push is 8–10 hours on glacier — early start essential. Weather window narrow in Nepal.
