The Spiti loop — entering via Manali over Rohtang and Kunzum La, and exiting via Shimla through Kinnaur — is one of the most beautiful roads in Asia. Mud monasteries at 4,000m, apple orchards in ancient river valleys, and stretches of road so remote the tarmac simply stops. Spiti delivers everything.

Safety & Prep

Kunzum La can be snowbound until late June — check pass status before departure. Carry chain lube, tyre plugs, and a basic toolkit. Fuel up at Kaza — it's the last pump for 130km.
