The Spiti loop — entering via Manali over Rohtang and Kunzum La, and exiting via Shimla through Kinnaur — is one of the most beautiful roads in Asia. Mud monasteries at 4,000m, apple orchards in ancient river valleys, and stretches of road so remote the tarmac simply stops. Spiti delivers everything.
The circuit is completable without extreme technical skill, yet the scenery rivals anything in Ladakh. Key Monastery, Dhankar, and Tabo make this as culturally rich as it is visually stunning.
